Little Cheat....

I am not perfect, no one is, or at least no one I know is. So I will admit I have cheated these last months. Cheated as in I've had fast food, pizza, surgary desserts, etc. I will say however that my intake is way down from what it was and my portions have grown smaller. I eat less. No more up sizing for me. Wellll ok I tend to upsize my drink but since all I ever drink from restuarantes or fast food is ice tea, I don't consider that cheating. If I actually get pop, so rare btw, I just a small or drink one can. Pop just makes me thirsty for water. LOL
Over the years my sister has told me to eat more bananas. I have texture issues tho with some food and that includes bananas. Cut one up and put it in cereal or on icecream, what have you, I can eat it just fine. But a banana by itself it kinda torture. "Torure" you might be saying...eating a banana? Yes, dramatic I know but really, its hard for me to eat an entire banana by itself. However I've been trying to buy 2-3 at a time every so often and eating them for several reasons. 1. they are good for me and 2. i need the potassium as I get leg cramps every so often and I drink plenty of water so it's not dehydration. So I've had a banana three days in a row. Amazing right! Well to tell the truth they were going bad quickly so I wanted to eat them before they got uneatable. I don't like to waste money like that.
Ok, just another comment on the stupid spell check, WHICH IS STILL MISSING! I think its time for me to email somone at this blogger site. buggar...
Oh yah and this will probably be last last post until next week as I'm heading up to my family's homestead in NW Indiana tomorrow for Thanksgiving! Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday with family and/or friends.

Work pitch-ins

Today is Boss's day and my area brought in breakfast food for our boss. My office is notorious about bringing in food for just about any holiday, celebration, whatever that we can think of. And its not like we all love to bake, half the time its store bought. lol My sister is amazed we don't all weigh 500 pounds because as we all know the food we bring in is far from healthy. Sure once in a while someone will bring in fruit salad. Heck I even brought salad makings once (which wasn't eaten as much as the other stuff mind you). A Dozen Later

Okay so it hasn't been a bakers dozen of years....oh wait it has been. I can do math, yay! Anyone miss me? This blog? Guess not since even I forgot about it! Whoopsydaisy! I will eventually catch ya'll up but basically in the last 13 years I've bought a house (2011), got a new car (Jeep, 2018) and got married (2019). I also avoided catching COVID during the pandemic. The pandemic resulted me working remotly from home which resulted me to lose about 30lbs. So, I am on the downhill side of the scale. Yay! Far from my goal weight but better than I was 2 years ago! My plan is to ressurect this blog with my hopefully-still-there writing skills so I can vent out my life to readers and to entertain you at the same time so as to keep you coming back for more!

Store bought pre-made rotisserie chicken and a single serving of steamed corn. Pretty tasty for an quickie dinner. since I've started this I've lost about 15 lbs but I tend to fluctuate those last 5 lbs. Its been, what over a month and half? Not too bad I guess but I know I could have done better had I moved more. same ol ' story with that LOL Laundry and catching up on my magazine reading is on my schedule tonight ....
